So the year of hell is over...I am finished with my Spanish minor & I don't have to repeat any of my classes, which is fun.
This summer I am taking some time off; I'm still taking a couple classes to avoid feeling completely worthless, but I am going to spend the majority of my time bettering myself and being healthier in every way possible. I'm going on a diabetic diet (it's genetic), riding my bike, and working on getting my red belt in tae kwon do. In addition to this, I plan on taking care of my mental/emotional health and getting counseling.
I'm going to work on music crap too...such as improving my beatmatching & writing some tracks. My friend Annie wants to do a side project with me as well, which should be fun.
I also plan on doing some travelling. Thanks to Sallie Mae, I will be able to afford some road trips. As long as my car is fixed, I'm going to SG Prom in Toronto, Detriot Electronic Music Festival, and the World Electronic Music Festival. I'd also like to go to Ohio a couple times and maybe Atlanta & wherever else seems interesting.
As much as I love my friends here, I'm really getting the itch to travel again & I'm hoping my weekend trips will satisfy it. I'm considering going to the UK for 6 months after I graduate next year just for the hell of it. Two of my best friends are in Istanbul right now and my old roommate from Paris really wants me to come visit her.
Must...leave....Indiana....argh.
BTW, my birthday is in June. I'm getting a slip & slide and a kiddie pool. BUT, the question is, should it be KY, jello, chocolate pudding, or mud wrestling? I just don't know!
