Off with that crappy Valentine's Day update. I was supposed to replace it yesterday, but I felt lazy and uninspired. I know, I should have done it but what can I do? I'm only one man!!
For the record, I hate it when I post emo shit like that, but the good news is that sometimes I mimic ferrets in that they have a very short attention span. Seriously, they lose interest in everything as soon as they notice it's there. Except for the contents of the trash can. Anyway, I finally got my Firefly DVDs on friday which made me very happy. Go buy it. It looks something like this:
I also went out for a walk, did some groceries, my parents came to visit, talked to an old friend who's currently in Laos, got mail from a very dear friend you all know and love... And without even noticing the negative feelings that I had were gone. Ashlynn called me out on the emo which did the trick nicely. And then I watched American Dad, realized I dropped about 4 pounds over the past 2 weeks, and was proposed by someone to a very good job.
My point is, sometimes you got to take comfort in the small things until eventually, that little comfort you find in each one of them becomes a greater joy and you realize maybe it's not that bad. Thanks to those who expressed concern though.
Now, today I bought some new shoes as well as a neat shirt, the kind we call guayabera, which is a very popular garment, because it's quite sober and elegant, and is choice for weddings and other events, especially near the coast. The occasion is the wedding of one of my many cousins, which will take place upon my return from Vegas. We will all be dressed up in them. Mine's got long sleeves, I prefer it that way although I might still get a short sleeved one, just to make sure I have a spare.
Tomorrow I might work on a project to make a bigger house for Teh Ferrits. I still haven't decided, truth is I'm not big into working with tools and such. If I do, I'll post up pictures. Speaking of which, Rifka is so big now!!
(Warning, lots of dog pictures)

Very well guys, see you around, it's time for me to watch some more firefly. Oh and don't watch this if you're emo and easily offended:
