got any pics of your rubber chainmail? that sounds cool. i'm a metalsmith jeweller, so i understand the whole art vs. making money problem veeeeeery well. i don't want to only make "art" stuff that nobody wears or loves or sweats on, but i don't want to only make commercial stuff either. i try to make some "art" first, then some production work will always come from there. and that's my little tuppence re: art.

Pondscum sounds ok. I drink snakebite and black, I drink absinthe, just never tried them together. My current favourite is a double whiskey with coke and a triple shot of akvavit added, I call it the Headfuck.
