Last night, at approximately 2:30 AM, my dad made me pancakes.
Let's recap: My sister has been in Austria the past few weeks, competing in the University World Games (or some shit, i don't know what it's called... it's the second biggest amateur sporting event in the world, to the Olympics). She got back last night, around 2ish, hence why my parents were not sleeping. I expressed my feelings of hunger, and my father assented.
These pancakes might be the first positive effect my sister has caused my entire life. Thank you Austria.

the Globe is on the 3rd floor at Portage Place, for anyone who doesn't know. if you have a car you can park in the underground parkade and we'll give you parking validation. the entrances to the parkade are on either Carlton or Vaughn. if you are busing and need a ride home afterwards or anything, we'll work something out. try to show up around 1145-1150pm, so that we can let you in. once the movie starts, the doors will likely be locked. if you think you'll be late, email me and i'll give you my cell phone number. feel free to bring snacks if you like because the candy bar will be closed. if you haven't let me know yet, please try to let me know for sure if you are coming or not, and approximately how many people will be with you, so i have a rough idea of who to expect. my email address is flutterbye670@hotmail.com if you need anything or want to ask anything.
