no i couldn't go grey for very long at all...

my knowledge of poker comes from being taught ONCE the meanings of cards and plays in the back of the bus on the way to catholic school (oh man that is a telling sentence if ever there was one...) that was the short period of time that i was befriended by the "bad girls" just before it was decided we should not pay so much for schooling that was only making me lose more faith with every passing second.

and then every other time i've ever played it was strip poker and i used my slight knowledge to keep my clothes on.

It's a new little place in Dunbar at about... 28th? In the same complex as the Subway across the street from the Starbucks. I noticed it as I was leaving Mexicali (which has awesome Mexican food, BTW, even though it doesn't look like it would).

Aw man, horrible timing for going out last night. I'm just getting the voice mails now due to the fact that my cell phone was turned off (hospital rules).

Me love finally got called in last minute for a procedure she'd been waiting on, so I'd left work early to be with her while she waited. Spent most of last night curled up in a hospital bed with her waiting for the OR to open up and flipping pages of magazines.

Not a major operation, but I obviously needed to be there for her.

I'll make it up at the christmas party!

You know fenris...I was this close to coming to DOOLINS this week, But I had to work on something last minute! (And I was even going to buy a round too!)

I don't know if this would fly...But I was thinking of when the 'blahs' hit round here...(are we there yet?) to invite whomever wishes to imbibe in some Absinth, a Killer Home Theatre, and 400 Horror fliks to choose from, But I don't know if it would fly...

But Yes, OI concurr, I would REALLY like to catch SOMETHING going on...(especially since I know at least YOU will talk to me!)
