I really don't know what to write in here. I think I might have writers block.
I managed to get a hold of a copy of Alan Moore's Promethea. It is like an introduction to magick and the kaballah all in comic book form. In one issue they go through the trumps of the tarot in others there is a quest and journey up the tree of life. The art is unbelieveable at some points as the artist uses uh I think the term is patiche. Any way he mimics famous artists style at times depending on the story.
I went to Arts County Fair thursday. Its the local Universities day of debauchery and concerts for when the school term ends. It wasn't that good this year on account of me being too close to sober and not meeting up with anyone. we were supposed to get together with Pokes but that never happened. The place we had planned to meet was even off limits.
Lets see. The Vancouver Canucks, whose arena I work at, are in the first round of the play offs. They are playing the Calgary Flames. The first home game was good exciting hockey and ended with My team up 5 to 3. The second home game however was UGLY. The Flames scored to cheap goals in the first period and the Canucks only got back one of them. The Officiating was aweful and both teams played clumsily. The only positive thing I can say is for the goalies. They are GOOD. Especially, I must admit sadly, the Calgary goalie.
Well looks like I managed to break past my writers block there. Hopefully I will be able to break past it on my Viking story, hmm?
