I am going to Calgary!

I bought the tickets, I got a good deal and I am flying. It is actually cheaper to fly there and back then it is to bus. YAY, you say? biggrin

Well yes except for one little thing. I don't know whether I have a place or not. My cousin moved there without leaving me her new number and other friends are all unsure and or unable. eeek

So I am going on September 10th and I am coming back the 19th. Anyone think I could last 9 days on the streets of Calgary? tongue

UPDATE! I have a place for the 12th to the 19th! I guess I am only on the streets for two days biggrin

Anyone willing to have a couch surfer for two days?

hmm... i don't think being intimidated by someone's intelligence is a bad reason not to date them. i think i would feel like i could never keep up, or that i'd be holding him back. i mean this guy isn't just smart. he's like a genius. but maybe that isn't the reason, and it's just the first thing that came to mind.

in any case, i don't get that feeling like "oh god i want to rip your clothes off," which is something i usually look for in someone i want to date. *shrug*

And the prof is really cool - very articulate, very intelligence, excellent points & analysis.. and apparently he's worked with Werner Herzog!
