Yesterday I had a great midterm review from my Theories of Psychotherapy teacher. He pretty much just said I was doing really well, my paper was great (I got a 5/5 on the 3rd question which he said was the hardest!), and he didn't even give me any criticism or things to work on!
Then today I had the critique of my drawing midterm, an 8 drawing panorama of my room. The (really really cute and tiny Converse-wearing) teacher was really enthusiastic about it, and everybody else in the class was too! People were so nice, we were doing the critiques by having everyone write one sentence on a piece of paper and put it in a jar, and one of them even said "Wow!" This is awesome because I did almost the entire project in the course of two all-nighters, a week apart. But I'm glad it came out all right, considering I've spent close to 14 hours on it, including 8-9 hours straight last Wednesday. Then I talked to my drawing teacher after class hoping she could help me get a sense of whether of not I should take the Intermediate drawing course next term (I enjoy drawing, but it's not my strong suit and it was incredibly intimidating for me to even sign up for the intro level class) and she was really complimentary and supportive.
To make things even better, I found out just now that Japanese class was cancelled today, which means I get to extend the nap I was about to take to whenever! Yeahhh baby.
The only downside to all this is that I just hit myself really hard in the face with my knee. Fuck.
Also, HANNAFORD'S STILL SUCKS
...but I'm not feeling so cranky about it anymore. Plus tomorrow is the start of a kickass Boston weekend and gettin to see my feller. And we all know how much I love getting to see the feller.
