Oh jeez.....I've been watching Breaking Bad this past week and it's SO GOOD and I have NO ONE to talk to about it and it's making me CRAZY so I figured I would just blog about it because there's bound to be a couple people who know what I'm talking about when I say that I just watched the episode Over (Season 2), and in most ways it was a slower episode (which is almost a relief at this point because the series is so intense...) but the end of it was just....electrifying. That's the only way to describe it. With just five words Bryan Cranston made every hair on my body stand on end.
Anyways in other news, today marks almost 2 weeks into the New Year, during which I am having a 100% SUCCESS RATE with my New Year's resolutions!! (They were to work out and floss every day, in case you were wondering...) I haven't been doing resolutions the past few years because I had this whole idea about if you're going to make change just do it, don't wait for some conventional excuse, blah blah blah but yeah it's not like that was working for me, so I just went for it and you know what? Conventions exist for a reason. Using the New Year as a jumping off point to change behaviors works BECAUSE you can then say things like I have a 100% success rate now and it makes you feel AWESOME. I'm also doing much better with my hair pulling...my cousin and I reinstated our support texting that had petered out some time ago and it's super helpful.
Anyways this ties in to the first part of my entry because I just finished that episode and I am SO EXCITED to see what happens next but it's noon, and noon is exercise o'clock! Only after that can I break out the entire carton of Ben & Jerry's and continue my regularly scheduled marathon TV-watching!
By the way if anyone's wondering what I did for New Year's (not that you would) I watched the first half of Cannonball Run and was in bed by 10:30pm. Fuck yeah I know how to party. I just choose not to.
