Hello ladies and gents, here is the brief Fenchurch news update:
1. I hate it here. I have no friends and the benefits of hot meals and no rent are starting to be outweighed by the levels of insanity inflicted upon me by my mother (whom I love very much but seems to still think I am 13 years old). This is made worse by the fact that my dad is planning to move across the country soon and I was thinking about going with him but have decided I don't think I can leave the East Coast at this point, because I'm going to go that far away from 95% of the people I care about, I might as well go back to Japan now (which is an option I'm considering).
2. I took out my cheek piercings. And my hair is presently long and brown. It's very weird to deal with because being immediately recognizable as unorthodox, countercultural, etc. since I started dying my hair at 15 has become a huge part of my identity, and while I do enjoy some of the perks of looking "normal" such as the wider availability of jobs and not being followed around in convenience stores or talked to by quite as many weirdos at bus stations, it's weird looking in a mirror and seeing me looking back, coming to terms with what I actually look like at face value, and coming to terms with the fact that something as simple as having to facial piercings or dyed hair brings up all of these feelings and thoughts within me.
3. Despite the aforementioned widening of job availability to me at present, I do not have a job. And am therefore quite broke, despite my mother's generosity. So I am officially reinstating Fenchurch's CUSTOM PILLOW EXTRAVAGANZA! I'm hoping to get a full on website/yard sale thing going soon to sell the billions of things I have that I've made or bought and don't want/need, but for now this is what I have for you: the return of the custom throw pillow!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with these, I will post better pictures later, but for now here is an only slightly-blurry shot of a satisfied customer:
Basically, I will make you a custom throw pillow featuring your favorite SG, or any image of your choice, starting at a base rate of $20 for a one-sided pillow, and $30 for a double-sided pillow (i.e. one with images on both sides). This pillow is a good example of the $20 one-sided pillow. A $30 double-sided pillow would be similar, but with another image on the back. A $30 one-sided pillow would have an image on one side, but more details/frills/decorations, etc. You can pick the color scheme yourself, or I can just work from the image. So yeah! Help me be less broke and have something to do with my hands besides smoke and masturbate! (Which is less fun now that I'm not at school and can't do both at the same time without appalling the neighbors).
A final note: In looking over my old blog entries for more pillow pictures, I realized/remembered how much more fun and interesting my updates used to be, and how much fun I had doing it. So seeing as I am unemployed and with the aforementioned abundance of time on my hands, I may try to start the blog effort train up again. You've been warned.

And thanks so much for the congrats!! While I have my first degree (my Associate's), I still have 10 more months to go (starting on Monday) til I'm completely finished and have both degrees!!
Oh, and about the moving to Japan thing, you totally should!! Work and save up a bunch of monies and hook it up!! I personally plan on making a visit there either some time in December or as a present to myself after I graduate college (although that's highly unlikely seeing as how I plan on moving into Manhattan for work).
It would certainly help me make my decision if I had a free place to stay and a kickass girl to help translate and eat sushi with me!!
