i MIGHT be getting a new puppy. keep your fingers crossed.
i'm looking at two right now, both of them were rescued. and they both are with their entire litter, which might influence my decision because i hate breaking them up. one is named Reese, as in Witherspoon. Her brother's name is Ryan and her sister's name is Roxy. she's really fluffy and is an Australian Shepherd mix. her coat is auburn and white and she has really pretty amber colored eyes. ADORABLE. she's 9 weeks old and didn't bark the whole time i was picking her up and running around with her.
the OTHER one is named Lynn, which i might change. she has three brothers named leroy, leonard (leo?), and lonnie. haha the person that gave these dogs their names is ridiculous. she's a lab mix but is TINY. i think she wasn't even as long as my forearm. she's 8 weeks old and completely black except for a little white spot under each of her paws, even her eyes. makes me think i could give her an amazing name. she's SO sweet but was almost too calm today, i think she may have just been spayed, poor thing. she's pretty much the perfect example of a puppy.
i don't know which one i like better. neither of them are house trained obviously, so that would be a hassle. if anyone has tips then please share!! Reese was really bad about it. she went quite a few times while i was looking at her. Lynn, not so much. Either way i'd be thrilled to have a dog that i could train and that would be affectionate with me. i have a dog now but she's just really crazy and won't cuddle or anything. i think i'm favoring Reese right now.
