The thing with melbourne is that it holds so many mixed memories for me. Some of the best times of my life have been here, but also some of the worst. Where once this town represented nothing but fun times, friends and excitement, now there's something more sinister for me in the bustling streets and alleys of melbourne town, reminders of sad events, the passing of a best friend, love on the high seas gone awry, bridges burnt in reckless times...
I feel vulnerable here now... thank god for my family and the few friends still around town. Am gonna go see the Metro five exhibition today, an artist i admire from adelaide has a portrait in it and stands to win 40G, then I'm gonna go see "walk the line" may cheer me up, or might make me sook like a baby, either way i'll enjoy it!
Its funny how placeshold different memories and can evoke different emotions isn't it?
