i have a sad work story today. there is a manlift operator who works the 2 to 11 shift. he was a grumpy guy but once you broke through him he was very nice. when his shift started all the bozo carpenter, pipefitters, electricians etc. (only the carpenters were the bozos) would be going home. everyday at that time i need to go get things from the tool room. i pick up the lift on the 46th floor. by the time i get to the fifth floor it is so packed its ridiculous. he used to pick me up on the work floor and give me the express to five. i loved waving at all the poor guys trying to get home while i was still working. last friday i was the last man of the lift. being the nice boss that i am i am the last to leave. i was the last to leave his lift. i told him thank you, have a good night and ill see you tomorrow. he called in sick saturday and died at the hospital later that day. i was sad all day. it was a shock. i just saw him on friday, now he's gone. he was 62. he never got to retire and enjoy his lifes work. if you guys could think about him and wish him well wherever he goes.
we saw spiderman 3 yesterday. i think it was a tad too long and was not as good as the first too. venom seemed like he was going to be a big roleplayer. but he was there for such a short time. oh well it was still good. now we wait for shrek the third.
