we were having a conversation at lunch about this picture. it seems that every person who is an ironworker at heart has this picture in their home. i have it as well as the 7 members in my gang. i guess its like catholics and their pictures of mary, its just something you have.
i have a question for anyone who cares to participate. how did you come up with your profile name. my came when i was working at phase two of the venetian. it was a 14 story building on top of a ten story parking garage. i was in the plumb up gang. our job was to make the columns straight so that the building was straight. it was a very fun job and i thing what made it fun was the foreman we had. well we were doing the roof wich had 35 foot columns. we needed to get a choker on a perimeter column to pull it in. this particular column was a tube column so you couldnt climb it in the traditional way. so my boss got a ladder and we placed it on that column. i climbed up the ladder and rigged the choker and attached the come-along. when i got down he asked me if i was scared. i told him no. he then said feerlessfreddy. ive been called that by guys on that job ever since. thats one of the many things that set us apart from other trades. we just do it.

As far as my profile name, I took it from Skank Zero Hopeless-Savage, a character from the comic book series Hopeless Savages. You know how hippies get married and gave their kids names like Moonbeam and Starflower? Well, punks give their kids names like Skank Zero and Rat Bastard.
But really, I adore you.
Just thought you should know that.
