i woke up today to find all three cats, who dont get along, sitting together on the floor by the food bowls. they didnt have water. so i gave them water, filled up the food bowl and watched them get in order to eat. the oldest cat we have, toonces, responds when you call her by her name. i think that is funny that she knows her name. the second cat we have, hidey, is so shy she doesnt respond to anything. only if you get down low and rub your hands together she will come. the youngest cat, max, responds to his name. he is a very curious cat and is to be found anywhere. if you want to go to the bathroom he will stick his paws under the door to try to get in. when i make coffee in the morning he is right there with his face in the pot. when he is kneeding on our couch i go shh, stop it and he does. Hidey, i just call out her name when she does it on the stair carpet. they are all pretty interesting animals who i could never give up because each one means something to me. when we first moved to las vegas from denver,co. the apartment we rented didnt allow cats. i was not going to get rid of toonces over some stupid contract we signed saying no pets are allowed. so we lived there for three years with our cat. we did get several warnings but i never paid attention to them.
im still riding my motorcycle to work. finally a vehicle i buy that works everyday without question. i need to find a good jacket that is somewhat lightweight to keep me warm. it is 45 to 55 degrees in the morning and that is getting pretty chilly on a bike. right now i wear a sweater, a flannel jacket. and a big pullover jacket. those keep me warm but i look like the michelin man. never the less it is still fun to ride everyday. your in your own world. all you here is the sound of your motor. unless some guy in a harley comes by then you cant hear anything.
we are on the 20th story of our building. not even half way there yet. we do have a clear shot of the topless pool at the wynn though. there are alot of binoculars on the job. we also use the transit for plumb up too. that one zooms right in. not that i would know anything about that. although we are approaching winter as we finally get a view. a friend of mine's dad is starting a 65 story building somewhere here in town. i may jump ship and go work for him. i lost out on alot of money this year by being a loyal worker and doing the small jobs so the the union ironworkers could keep that work. in the process my other friends are working on the strip making bank. thats why i drug up and went to the strip. the stardust is being imploded soon so hopefully another iron job will ber there. donald trump has his building across the street from us. it is a concrete building, bad , but we are catching his and we will pass it soon. our building is way bigger by the way. yay for iron.
i helped my daughter with some fractions the other day. it has been 17 years since i went to school and i was worried i had explained them wrong. so while at work i was thinking of writing a note to the teacher stating that i showed her how to do it wrong and to give her another chance. well she came home and told me that she only missed one but they are doing a different sheet since so many kids missed alot. so i told her she shouldnt have to do another one. its not her fault that the ohter kids parents dont know how to do fractions.
well im off to look at naked girls. i like to get behind on the sets so i can look at alot in a row. have a fun weekend.
i tried to be slick and show some pictures but just these came up. those are my kids. hey at least i got one picture up.
