feckweed presents:
WEST NILE LIMMERICKS & HAIKUS
Peaceful summer stroll
Fragrant smells quickly turn sour
Dead bird smiles at me
Dead bird in the yard
My stick pokes its bloated chest
Insects swarm in fear
There once was a bird in my yard
Its body had become quite hard
With a stick in my mitt,
I poked at it,
Until it was horribly marred
Chest tore open from stick
with malice and forethought bad,
good germs poison you
