Hi I'm a big dork, because I want to mention this.
Today I found a CD on my way to class, and I hesitated picking it up because it looked too scratched to play, but it does. It's just mainstream hip hop, but it's not baaaaaad, for mainstream hip hop. Sorry if you like that. But anyway, that just made my day. I want to figure out the tracklisting. Tracks 17 and 18 won't play.
Also, as expected, my sculpture class is filled with old people, but that's ok (I'm taking it for confidence building!). We listened to jazz while making hands. I love the smell of clay, it had mold growing on it and I still just wanted to rub my nose in it. Normally I wouldn't be so candid but ryan brought over beer and our bong.
I hate whenever I'm in a class the instructor will be giving everyone else suggestions or telling them what they are doing right and EVERY time she walked by me: "good."
I'm so hungry for real interaction between a knowledgeable person and myself and I always get "good". Except at the end, she told me it took "courage" to cut the fingers off my hand. wtf?
edit: upon further listening, it is kinda crappy.
