I got into a fight with my imaginary friend Jerry the Swede last night. He says it was my fault but I know it was his.
Anyway, we settled it and had some pancakes and watched Breakfast Club again. I love late night pancakes.

Thing that's buging me now is... unrelated to the arguement, but quite related to Jerry, I found out something shocking and bizarre from one of his friends: Jerry wasn't gay.

Now ever since I made him up a few years ago I've come to accept the fact that Jerry the Swede was homosexual. It was one of the first things we talked about, and I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable with that for the first couple of weeks we lived together, as I was still hanging onto some school-grown prejudices. But as I got to know him more, I got over it. The whole experience has made me a better man.
And now one of his close gay friends, who he used to tell me was "my lover", tells me it's just a facade. A mask he puts on when someone is looking.

He had so much pride, I really respected that.
But...
But now it's just pride.. in what? Where's the pride in waving a foreign flag?

...Why the lies?

It's just... huh?
Why would he tell me that?

I mean... what the fuck? Right?
