I love to cook. It’s a hobby, not a job so I’m doing it for myself and my friends. One of my favorite things to prepare is a paella. I was taught how to make it by a Spaniard from the city of Valencia. According to him Valencia is where paella originated. He taught me how to make a true paella valenciana, with rabbit, snails, and veggies. I now make a paella mixta with chicken, sausage, shrimp, and veggies. I have also made a seafood only paella. In the pictures you will see the finished product that I made the other night for some friends and my family. Also my newest gadget, the paella burner, is fantastic. This is the second time I use it and I love it. It distributes the heat perfectly. As I like to say, with the right tools a chef can do no wrong.
