The death of the gentleman,
No more do the masses use that ancient thing called manners,
Rudely ravaging and raping the convention of civility,
We put our hatred and hideous thoughts on massive banners,
Does nobody else see this insanity?
Lovely little niceties and grand generous gestures,
Both disappearing as they are swept into history,
The hatred and entitlement of this generation festers,
Eventually leading us to an ever increasing misery.
Drugged up one night stands,
Coupled with relentless writhing hands,
A fun night out is now a full night forgotten,
Leading to many a child misbegotten.
No longer do we stop to think about our actions,
We are a new generation completely out of control,
Our entire society divided into warring factions,
Giving life to new little armies in which we all too quickly enroll.

The other day I met a girl and she expressed quite vocally that she didn't care about anything. Why is it that the current trend in society is for people to no longer give a damn about anything but themselves? Caring for things is what gives life meaning. If you don't believe strongly in something then you're life will amount to nothing. In the words of Hatebreed, "If you don't live for something, then you'll die for nothing!"
