Hello friends,
Tomorrow is a new and fabulous day for me. I am going to spend the remainder of the semester working as an assistant director of education at Iowa State University's University Museums.
I'm actually going to be taking over as much of my boss's job as I can handle while she goes on maternity leave. I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!

If the image above posted properly it will display a link to the current exhibit at one of our three main exhibit spaces. The Christian Petersen Art Museum. We currently have an extraordinary exhibit installed by Andy Magee whom utilizes reclaimed materials to make wonderful art. If you happen to be in the Ames Iowa locale and can make it to our Morrill Hall on Thursday. Andy will take a few moments to discuss his artwork at 7 pm. One of his political pieces was featured in TIME magazine during the last election cycle. I will try and post that image here:

I'll definitely be posting a bit more about this in the upcoming days and weeks. This is going to be one hell of a fantastic semester.

In reply to what you commented on my album Marooned, they weren't part of a full set no. Just some old photos. Thanks for the lovely compliment, as ever though

You are very welcome.
I really enjoy all of your photos and there is something really fetching about the perspective in the four photos in your album. I'm not entirely sure what it is about them that I like so much(besides the fact that they are of you), but I think that it has something to do with the feeling of closeness and openness in them. They seem so candid and warm. I know that there is a bit of a formula in most of the quality/successful shoots on SG, but there is something about those shots that I really love.
