Neverending job search makes me cry. And as it drags on I get angrier and angrier at the Little John's manager. Back in late April when I passed the second test he asked if I could start that day and I said no, I'm still in school and that I would be available in early May. And he said to come check back with him then. So that sounds like I've got the job to me. And I show back up and he says no, he's apparently no hiring after all. And now everyplace I go says they've just hired a bunch of people and are full. Well yay. I would be one of those people, if I'd be out getting those jobs instead of being comfortably assured I'd work at Little John's. Suck
So many animals in my room now. Big tank is same as normal. My two baby newts are now both healthy adolescent newts who keep fighting over food. Generally, Shakti gets to the food and starts eating, Deedlit rushes in a pushes Shakti out of the way. Quite miffed, Shakti then engulfes Deedlit's head in her mouth for a couple seconds. That would inimidate me adequately, and apparently Deedlit feels the same way so she swims down below the rocks and catches all the food that lands there. It's about the same amount of food, but I guess Shakti has a sidedish of glory.
Laura's tank now has three cool Cories. Nuerotic Fish is still being nuerotic and trying to understand 'friends'. The other two (tentitavely Panda and Sidekick) are both very cool as well. Sidekick has very pretty fins, so his name is being reconsidered.
And lastly, I stole four baby fish from a river and they're doing fine with my snails. I think they're growing into minoes with little blue stripes, which is cool because the other option was that they're grow into huge red-tailed trout, which feed mostly on newts. So hopefully this will work out with me eventually having a minoe population that is eaten, as opposed to eating.
