Still sick, but less sick. I guess? I dunno. Sick is sick.
I'm still snotty as all fuck.
I just want to breathe dammit!
That line just gave me a new dream to aspire to! I want a guest role on ER, or I guess Third Watch would suffice, but I want to be giving someone CPR. They fail to respond after a few minutes, so I begin pounding the patient's chest. I exclaim, "Breathe dammit! BREATHE!" At which point you hear the little "blip, blip" of the heart monitor.
The patient's got a pulse! You've saved my husband's life!
That would rock.
_____________
The last part of the controlled descent will be a nosedive into the ground. This he calls the terminal phase of the descent, where you're going thirty-two feet per second straight at the ground. This he calls terminal velocity, the speed where objects of equal mass all travel at the same speed. Then he slows everything down with a lot of details about Newtonian physics and the Tower of Pisa.
