i dont know how old the web page was that told me to get a canon 1000 ,but the store i went to didnt have one,they had a canon a2000is the girl there [who knew more than me] said this is the one that would get me taking pictures. so ill be playing maybe even post a picture.

i am off to buy a camera, dont have a clue, at this point i think i need compact ,canon sd1000,is what i am looking at ,this will get me going,i thought about getting higher end camera but i dont know enough about them yet to make a comfortable decision so i hope i am a being rational and shopping smart,and getting a quality beginners...
