Wow, I've had a weekend...
The good: My Jetta is up and running Went to a Dyno Day on friday, threw down 266.5HP and 249.9FT/LBS. Here's the video a friend took of my run:

Not to bad, but not what I was expecting. My supercharger kit is supposed to produce 307hp on 91octane gas, so it looks like I've got some more fine tuning to do
I also did a high speed run on the way home, hit this country road with a four mile straight-away @ 4am. No traffic, No signs of life, just open tarmac. It was beautiful, especially when everything started to tunnel out and the moonlit trees were sparkling paths of fire as I blew by them... And blew by them I did, I hit a top speed of ~157mph or ~250kmh Yeah it was really fast...
The Bad: Taxes, I hate them! Hate paying them, hate filing them, hate sponsoring our nations world conquest, hate sponsoring the war on drugs, hate paying our idiot government to frivolously throw my money away... And then, they make them so hard you need a degree in finance to get the most back.
My friend Teaspoon finally lost his battle with cancer. His funeral will be on the 17th. He was this crazy ass hippy that my former best friend got to come to YS and he never left. In two years he had befriended most of the town and everyone knew his name. He was a master carpenter and good family. He'ld give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it more than he did. He just got married for the first time six months ago, to a real sweet-heart of a lady, who's now a widow. He was only 49(?).
Welcome to America... We can't cure cancer, but we can solve Erectile dysfunction.
