I was up all night last night and am up again all night tonight trying to mix down the demo for one of my bands.
Sometimes I think I love music too much. My day job is at an mp3 company and I sit down for 8 hours a day listening to music. I listen to my own music before and after work. I play in three different bands. I go to shows. And now I've been recording and mixing the demo for my band all weekend and the beginning of this week.
Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get tired of music. When I was at USC for sound engineering, my professors used to tell us that being an engineer has its downfalls, most notably the insane work hours and the fact that you get tired of music after so long. They never listen to music in their cars, which is something I could never do. I need music on at all times. It's what keeps my OCD brain sane.
This Friday one of my bands, Because Silence Is a Dangerous Sound, is playing at Gilman. All Bay area SGers should come. You are all invited.

Hey you are going ot the Quake City Shake right?? I am..I gotta go go dance for Plan 9 n shit...oh and see cool bands of course!
