Bleh... slow as hell on the updating, I know. Had a huge weekend last... weekend. =\ Drove up to Oregon for the first time, but just barely crossed the border to Ashland. My friend Aime and I drove up to steal Nestor from the evil clutches of Oregon. Actually I just wanted to steal Trouble, but shhh... don't tell her that.
By coincidence, a Bay Area band Watch Them Die was playing that night, so we ended up getting drunk, going to their show in Medford, and hanging out with them afterward. The trip wasn't too eventful since we spent all of two days up there, but it was really nice to get out of Oakland and have fun.
On the way home, I drove through snow for the first time. I thought I was gonna slide off the road, but Aime and Nestor kept reassuring me that I was doing a good job. It either snowed or rained the entire 7 or 8 hour drive home, but that's OK because we ended up spending a lot of time with our man Prince. I've been busy ever since I got back.
This month Live Ammo is playing a few shows. We're playing the East Bay Rat's X-mas dinner thing on the 13th, an anti-war benefit on the 14th, the Phenomenauts "Silent Night, Holy Crap" on the 19th, and Plan 9's record release show at Gilman on the 20th. One of my other bands, ...because silence is a dangerous sound, are playing our first show at the same anti-war benefit on the 14th. Phew. I'm almost glad my other other band Friday Night still hasn't found a drummer.
