Been really busy. I've taken time off from shooting for the most part, other than an upcoming trash the dress and boudoir with an alternative model, and another couples session. Some more swimsuit models for a magazine in my hometown, things like that. But mostly, I'm trying to stay offline some and spend time with my husband before he leaves.
Today we had the first part of our OpLove photoshoot on post. I wore a little white dress with gold and he wore his ASUs. Aiden wore a cute little button up and red shoes, but wasn't so interested in posing tonight. Tomorrow we are meeting at her home studio and field to do photos in his ACUs and casual clothes. Mostly just a few in the ACUs to do a series of shots I've had in mind. I kept thinking of doing them for a client, but really wanted to have them first. Yep, I'm selfish with my ideas.
Tomorrow morning we are taking Aiden to the zoo for their Earth Day celebration and new exhibit dedication. Should be lots of fun.
Anyway, I don't really have many photos to share today. So here are a few at the gym.
Oh, and this reminds me of my very best friend ever. I'm so lucky to have her to help me through the tough times! <3
I also wanted to take a second to share something. Last month, a very good friend of mine was in a terrible accident. We have known each other since elementary school, and he recently was stationed here at Fort Riley with my husband. He was on his way back to Alabama for leave when the accident occurred in Mississippi. Right now the accident is under investigation, so Tricare is not paying for his care, plus the family is living off of only the sister's part time job while both parents are with him. His sister, Laura, has set up a blog, Facebook, and Fundrazr account to try and help offset the medical costs until the investigation concludes. Daniel is a very strong young man, and his progress so far is actually quite stunning to me... in less than a month he has come out of a level three coma with severe injuries to his brainstem and is standing with the assistance of his physical therapists.
