WARNING: I'm very groggy right now.
I just fell asleep on the couch and must've passed out at about 7 pm. This has been one looooong ass week.
TGIF in an hour and 14 minutes.
Tuesday was the first sitting for my tattoo and I'm proud to say, I took it like a champ. I got there at 5 pm and after much repositioning (I was borderline annoying.....just borderline) I was getting inked slightly before 6.
I left at about 9:20 pm, so it was a pretty solid sitting. Jimmy (artist) says I've got about another 3 hours to go for the colour. I have 2 weeks to decide what colours I want He got the whole outline, shading, and beginning stages of the flesh coloured finished - very awesome guy / tattooer.
Here are some initial ghetto camera phone shots. I'll take some nicer ones when I can.
I think I was allergic to the tape I was bandaged up with, as 2 days later I still have a marks from it and pulling it off was possibly the most painful part of the whole process!
For your viewing pleasure:
I'm not sure if I want bright colours, or more muted / natural tones. I definitely want the colour to be very saturated and solid, except for her halo, which I don't think I want outlined.
Hope you like, but don't care if you don't!
Next sitting: Wednesday, April 25th.
