Well, I am at home, taking a break from all the demands I usually deal with. Tonight the world is shut out and I am easy in my own skin. Ten more days of classes, 3 day of finals and then vacation for 2 weeks. YAH!!
Breathe in, breathe out.
Life can be good sometimes, especially when I don't think about reality.
Realit is over-rated.
I am trying not to be so slack on updating my blogs. I appreciate the PM's askig me about my photos. I didn't think people were paying attention....I'll try to keep thins one from being as boring as the last too.....
So the other morning I was going on my usual early morning trek for coffee and a vegan dream bar (don't be Surly Mike !) but alas it was raining. Typical of Guhgah, it is a swamp right now and the bugs are beating the humans. Fir reals though...cicadas, which I like, palmettos, mosquitos, flies and fleas which I don't like. Meh....only 3 months left of summer here in Guhgah ;-)

This pretty pink tree in my front yard was dropping flowers on my car.
After the rain let up a bit I got my camera and took some interesting pictures.
(wow did anybody catch the Southern drawl in that statement?)
For your viewing pleasure
So off I went to get coffee, and I took some super boring pictures of wet flowers......again for your viewing pleasure
I think I have more photographs of flowers than anything else in the. Not a bad thing by any means.
I wanted to highlight something that happened a few weeks ago...(was it months?)...the most awesome and wonderful forkandles stopped in Atlanta during the last leg of his round the world trip. It was such a pleasure to meet him. I dragged him to the touristy stuff here in the City, cooked him dinner and then the next day forced him to take goofy pictures with me in my kitchen.
Thanks for the visit C ! It was so much fun and entirely too short, I am sure I will see you on the flip side one day
I will highlight other things from the past few months in coming journals...things that would have been mentioned were I doing the whole blogging thing.
Does anybody else hate the word blog as much as I do? I prefer journal...it invites intimacy.
Ok, I'll leave y'all with this
Somebody threw a rotten apple in the street. I guess that's a good place for them
I just watched Fur and thought it was an excellent movie. I of course had several reasons to relate to it, but I think it is a wonderful and imaginative telling of how and why people change and discover other facets of who they are.
I hope my friends are doing well. I miss youse guys like mad.
Tell me you are doing (howr yir dir'n?) and show me something that makes you smile, we should share our joy with one another.
D.
Thank you and you're right.
