The past week at work wore my ass out !!!
I had a good night on Grill last night. I had only one re-cook, and it was snt back when the guy was 2/3 done eating. Most people can't stomache 12 oz of MR flesh, it was sent back as reheat/replate....that's not to say that there weren't a few veal chops and filets that walked out with a prayer and a kiss. all in all...I am glad it is over.....
I paid homage to the meat gods today, stopped by the farmers market and got some goodies for supper today.
ohh yeah!!! 28 oz bone in ribeye!!! Best 20 bucks I spent this week.
I served it 'au poivre' with roasted peruvian purples, cippolonnis, rainbow chard and apple demi. I also opened a nice bottle of petit syrah, one I have been holding on to for a while....needless to day everybody ate/drank quite well this evening.
I also made a light bean salad as an app
I have started taking lots of photos of food lately. I met 2 different food photographers this week at the restaurant, I helped Gerry make all the food for the shoots and even got to chat with the photogs for a minute. I kept my eyes peeled for the type of equipment they used, etc. and drove them crazy with 20 ??'s. It's ok to learn in fits and spurts right ?
Anyways, that's my Sunday. Hope everybody else had a good one !
