Venting! Why can't women figure out what the heck they really feel before saying something??? This makes no sense to me. I think many women, whether knowingly or unknowingly, use men emotionally. He is signing the deed over to me.......i dont "own" the house until it is paid off, in order to get the mortage turned over to me, I would have to re-apply for the loan and there is NO WAY i would get 4% interst........I would lose the house cause the rate would be to high. I tried all the not-for-profits.....no one can help in such little time.

I UNDERSTAND everything your saying, but I am NOT on the title "mortage papers" I can't get a home equity loan cause its "not mine"
My hubby tried to get one a while ago a few months ago, they said he needed a credit score of over 550 in IL, he was at 420 now he his score is super LOW!
besides filling out all the papers etc and taking the time with the hoildays and such it will never happen in 9 days.
I have over 100k in equity in this building. I know alot about property and what equity is this is why I bought this home to begin with.
In order to get the morgate in my name I would have to apply and like I said before my credit isnt good enough, so it will have to stay in his name until I can fix my credit and re-apply for a new loan pay this company off and start new. (almost like he is selling me the building for nothing)
But the home equity loan wont work. I cant do it cause my name isnt on anything, he cant cause of his credit score. WE even said we would take 50% interst we dont care, they still wouldnt give it to us.
