Edit: Just finished entering the newly purchased books as well as my scifi/fantasy novels on Library Thing. So I can now stop hunching in front of my computer entering hundreds of ISBNs and scanning dozens of covers. Yay.
Highlights of the last week:
Picked up about 50 books (for about $35) at the annual old book sale in my hometown, apparently the largest such sale east of the Mississippi (as they announced over the loudspeakers every five to seven minutes).
Saw the eclipse in reasonably good viewing conditions. Was moved.
Ate a lot of home-cooked food courtesy of my grandmother. Gained three or four pounds.
Hung out with a lot of people I don't often see. Some made me happy. Most reminded me of why I rarely hang out with them.
Had a belated birthday celebration. Ate cake.

I'd offer some suggestions in return, but you seem like the very rare person who is actually more widely and well read than I.....crazy, you're type are few and far between.
