I don't drink as much as I used to, and that's probably a good thing; but the relative poverty of the last year or so has left me missing the pleasure of a glass of something strong. These in particular have been on my mind (in relative order of longing):
I can still justify the occasional six-pack of PBR or High Life, and I don't have some sort of snobby aversion to either of those. But I do miss the days when I could spoil myself in terms of booze. Maybe one day my sad little liquor cabinet will again swell with the pride of its contents.
