130 BPM CD wallet is in progress...
Chunky as fuck acid techno. It's a good layer to start with. Working on finding some other layers that really mesh well with my personality. For DJ'ing seriously, I feel 3-5 well-developed layers of a particular style are required to really deliver nice multi-faceted sets.
Been on repeat all-night, all-day. As far as Drum & Bass (and beyond) goes, this is a serious album that requires a few listens in order to fully grasp it. There aren't many albums like this in the genre, and it's seriously refreshing. Even in the scene itself, I think it's getting lost in the hype of the label's other extremely strong releases (long-awaited LP from Loxy & Resound, and Dub-Phizix & Skeptical's "Marka," one of the bigger tracks of the year), so this album slides in as a sleeper, and purely for the most adventurous of listeners, whether you like Drum & Bass or not.
I'd post something from Youtube (Lover's Shell is probably the standout), but Exit/ST Holdings are really good about keeping their content off YouTube.

I'm still figuring what to do about New Years. I'm one year sober that night, so I don't know if I want to do the sober thing with friends, or hit the club, and see a few homies that are in town. I don't think there's any way to really merge the two, as most of my sober friends don't hit clubs with me.
I'm a sucker for New Year's kiss, and I've got to scoop up a dame. I was hanging with Brittany last Saturday, and I was not feeling it. Chemistry was like, fucking zero. I'm not into her at all. Like, I really tried and I wanted to be into her, cause it seemed like a really good idea, but it just felt like I was beating my head in.
I haven't called or txt'd her. I feel kind of bad cause I'm going to see her around eventually. Just not my type.
