Thanks to everyone who posted on my birthday; I didn't get a chance to reply that night, but I did see them, and that made me smile quite a bit.
I actually ended up having a great time on my birthday. I went to go see The Village with my family (which I thought was a great movie), and then went to my girlfriend's house and sat around with her and her sister (who I'm really good friends with). We ended up staying up until about three in the morning drinking and playing Super Nintendo, and just talking. It was awesome.
So for all the people out there that think their life needs to be like a college movie where all these random friends take you out when you turn 21 and get you shitfaced (even though, really, you only like about half the people there).... I had ABOUT as much fun sitting around with real friends (my girlfriend, girlfriend's sister, and Super Nintendo)! So fuck all that Van Wilder, American Pie, "College Parties are the best times of your life"-esque propaganda. Yeah.
