So, I got "stood up" as it were by the tattoo artist I was supposed to see.
Now, I could say that, sure, I understand he probably pulled a late night inking someone else. But a schedule is a schedule. He penciled me in, he should have to see me. He just lost $2000 (my final estimate on what I think my sleeve will cost) because he was a sleepyhead.
Apparently the concept of customer service is completely dead.
Which honestly, it's fine. I'll find someone else, I'm sure I'll be happy with it when it's done, and honestly having to pay my deposit on it was something I was risking not paying my rent to do. Normally, my rent isn't "withdrawn" from my account until the 10th, though I have to have a check for them by the 3rd. I was cutting it close, what with my first paycheck coming in on the 6th.
I'm going to be sick soon. I just have that feeling. So, there's that to look forward to.
Work is fine. we lost an employee today (they got a better job) and we hired 3 more. I think that's going to be the pattern. lose one, hire fast, lose them in a few weeks. Kind of makes things stressful.
Serenity was amazing. I will see it a few more times. I think everyone should; it's really a movie that pulls you in.
Other than that.... nothing is new.

I'll give you the scoop next time I see you online. Unless you use a different alias for AIM.

What's cool about the place hiring a bunch of new people is that you rise in seniority quickly. Because everyone who comes after you (even if it's by a week) assumes you've been there forever.
