just today left. then it's the weekend. I'm looking forward to having some time off. It's funny, waking up isn't hard, it just really clashes with my overwhelming desire to not wake up.

I've lost 5 pounds. I know, some of that could have been water retention, but still, it's encouraging. My body just could be saying "A Job! yes, I don't have to prepare to die by hoarding fat to stave off starvation!". I'm doing crunches everyday, and next week I will resume running.

Next Friday Serenity comes out. I'm completely excited.

Let's see, what else... my cell phone sucks. I really hate it. it likes to say my SIM card isn't ready, buttons freak out on it, it can't find a signal, and generally everything about it sucks. only 7 more months left though.

Oh, here's something. Anyone ever play Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past? Well, in that game some of the most coveted items were glass bottles. Now, they'd invented clay bottles, which if you've played that game you would know those are plentiful. But the glass bottles were rare and getting all 4 was a real challenge. My question is, what kind of backwards society manages to invent a butterfly net before glass bottles? Or, why couldn't you just have taken some cheap clay bottles? sure, maybe they'd break, but that's part of the challenge. don't fall down any pits or get knocked around too much, and you're fine. it would have been a nice game mechanic.

I think doing this morning journal will be good for me during the week. it will keep me from wanting to just sleep in an extra half hour or so.

I never finished Link to the Past.

Sometimes, in the Legend of Zelda series, it's a little weird how much you have to struggle to get some very mundane items. After you fight through a dungeon, it says "You got a BOW AND ARROWS!!!OMG!!11" As if you couldn't realistically buy a bow in town. whatever
