My boss decided that I didn't need to come in until 10am for the Thursday and Friday, because the designated crew trainer comes in then. While I thoroughly enjoy being confused and super tired, I agreed with her.
First day was fine. it's a great place, they make awesome food there, super cookies (though I'll never try one, I don't much care for sweet foods and desserts), and they make a ton of stuff from scratch including the bread and they roast their own turkey. it's pretty damn cool. the store is beautiful, a little small, and with 15 people working there every day, it's quite fun. the lunch rush is rather hectic, but I think I'll get the hang of it. the only problem I had was that I stupidly wore shoes known to cause pain to my feet when stood in and walked about in for more than 2 hours. In my defense, they were the only shoes I had that I was willing to see sullied. I'll wear something different for today, and this weekend I'll go buy new shoes.
I decided to get my outline on my sleeve done with my first paycheck. I'm not telling you what it is, because all you people ever do is naysay. bunch of naysayers.
I asked my boss if having visable tattoos was ok. she said yes as long as it wasn't pornographic or had swears in it. However, I don't think she understood that I was getting pretty much a full sleeve. haha.
I've found out one of the players for D&D can't play. if someone else drops, we won't play. As much as I want to play, I'd also not mind having my saturday off. plus, that's the one character I'd hate to have to play or not have party have. Talk about Metagaming! sheesh.
NERD NERD NERD.
You know the phrase, "you've made your bed, and now you have to lay in it"? isn't that counter-productive?
