I've been pulling late nights and late mornings for 3 months, and it's going to be a little hard to adjust to getting up early.
In case you didn't hear, I've got a job. It's a 9-5, monday through friday kind of thing. it's only 9/hour, but it's within walking distance (provided I get up a half an hour early so I can walk it). It's just work in a cafe/bakery, but it's fulltime employment, and not something I have to be so invested in like I would a receptionist job, or anything else. I think it's perfect for right now.
Sure though... I'd not mind making an extra 3-5 bucks. But it has the potential for getting better, and None of what I will be making has to go to living expenses like rent and such, so it's not bad.
I'm going to have to get some Khaki's probably, which isn't all that fun. I hate buying pants, especially for work. I can never find my... erm... length. So they always have to be hemmed. Any Seamstressses out there?
I'm going to also clean up my place. it's not a mess, but the kitchen floor needs to be swept and mopped, the coffeemaker needs to have it's clock set, and while my bookshelf looks good where it is, I've found it's too close to my bed, so I'm gonna move that as well.
I am actually a little nervous about having to work so early. most of my jobs are evening ones, precedentally, and I'm not a morning person. But that's what Coffee is for.
This weekend is going to be fun. D&D finally, after 5 weeks. But wouldn't you know it, I still need to prepare. And who knows what other surprises await?

9 to 5 is hard to get used to, but it's a fantastic schedule once you get in the groove. It's nice to have evenings and weekends off.
