Does anyone in the north jersey area have the tools and know how to fix a transmission that has NO first gear? We don't have much money, but can barter with a few different things/services.... childcare, sewing skills, cooking, pest control, some home improvement... etc.

We really either need to get the money to get a car that runs or get this one fixed to last a little bit while we save (or try to).

I figure it's worth a shot to ask...I trust people on here a hell of a lot more than craigslist.....
