This weeks episode is brought to you by the letters- E, K, C and the number 69...
If any of the following is overly-emotional, it's the after-effects of the weekend, and not me being sappy, ok?
Right, with that out of the way, I can now detail the rest of my last weekend. Overall- damn good fun. You've already heard about friday. So then, saturday afternoon (after dragging my big. lazy ass out of bed later than expected and therefore having to rush about getting ready) I board a train to Southport to meet up with Robb. We had decided to go to a place called Churchills'. Eventually got there, train delays and scary old ladies talking to me notwithstanding (they do it all the time- I must be some kind of freak magnet) before going to KFC for something to eat. Gave up on this idea after moving my popcorn chicken around my tray for twenty minutes, deciding that my body would pay me back _tenfold_ if I tried to make it eat.
So, while pootling back to Robb's place to drop stuff off and get a haircut, we decided to go to the Krazy House in Liverpool instead. And special mention must go to the scally girl's outfit that we saw waiting at a bus stop- Nice, bright red tracksuit with a black strapless dress worn _OVER THE TOP_ of it. Somebody call the fucking fashion police, jeezus... And they call _us_ freaks...
Anyhoo, the journey to liverpool was made most amusing by two 'lads' (in the typical sense of the word) just missing the train at our stop so, rather than waiting for the next one, they GRABBED AHOLD OF THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRAIN AND HUNG ON AS IT SPED OFF TO THE NEXT STATION!!! I shit you not! Bloody nuts, I tell you! It scares me that they release people like that back in to the community so quickly...
So, arrive we did and much fun was had. The music was, in contrast to jilly's, absolutely fantastic. They played songs that have not been released as singles, something rock world seems opposed to. Some drama was also had when Robb's cousin turned up, _massively_ wankered and fell all over the place. I found this rather entertaining, Robb however did not and this resulted in us leaving earlier than I would like to have done. Oh well.
We stumbled back in in the wee hours of sunday morning and crashed out, before returning to manchester for the third successive night of partying. We started in the totally new (and damn fantastic) monthly club night Federation (held in the Ritz for those of you in the know). It was awesome. The music was great and the place was packed. Many cute girlies snogging other girlies were on hand for me to ogle. *grins* This finished at 4am, then we wandered off to Essential, who's all-nighter was open until 8am! Hardcore!
Special mention must go to the following highlights- hand dryers that actually worked (shock horror!), sweat bands that were about as absorbant as glass, uv hair gel and Malc's neverending supply...
Unfortunately, my constitution and willpower started to cave around 6am, until by 7, we were stumbling (quite literally) back to the car for the ride home. This was a rather subdued journey, as by this point, one was incapable of basic motor functions such as speech. Emerged from my pit sometime around monday night, found that I felt like hammered shit so promptly crawled back into bed, in the hopes of release from the torment I had inflicted upon my body i.e. death...
And I still feel rough, despite only having myself to blame. Remember kids- drugs are bad...
PS- If anyone is short of anything to read at the moment, you _have_ to read 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold. I started it yesterday and haven't been able to put it down. It's fucking AWESOME and I haven't read a book that good in a long time. It even made my faves list. Anyway, geek moment over, so see you all later...

ooh, we should be organising a Liverpool meet to the Krazy House when LadyInsane and SianyRiot are back from Uni....there's a thread in SGUK somewhere. We're looking at maybe the 19th June, so not for a while yet!
