today a boy i rented movies to came back two minutes later with a canvas. or rather a painted canvas, that looked like it should be painted over. he said "i was supposed to give this to someone today, and i just realized it was you." and then he gave it to me.
part of me wonders if he wanted me to have the painting, and i shouldn't paint over it. but i think that if he felt so compelled to give it to me, that i should do what i want with it. i was looking for canvas. i think i can make something good.
