we're home again.
briefly again, likely.
toronto was tons of fun, even if we did miss thewhole wonderland experience. since we had to leave at 5am, we weren't able to catch up with people's phone numbers beforehand, we decided against hanging out by ourselves at the park.
fortunately, zarina was happy to lead us around to all the fun places in downtown toronto. even if it did involve wandering up and down the same street several times. toronto's a cool city. people seem to like walking everywhere (more so than chicago), and seem to be generally more aware of their city (in an "i'm aware of my tongue" kinda way) than chicago. or maybe it's just because ophelia's family is so much smarter than the average bear.
being the architecture nerd i am, i had to see OCAD, if just for a good laugh.

after that, we headed off to visit the SQUIRRELCAT!!!!!

the rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with opheliar's family. who seemed only mildly dissappointed that i couldn't give an absolute thumbs up or thumbs down on their cottage's structural condition based on napkin sketches
