i keep swearing to myself that i'll spend more time on this site. then i keep finding new distractions. i even had to have my official biographer write my last entry. unfortunately, i won't be spending more time here this week. i'm sick of my job, and it's inability to pay on time, which is because it can't manage to bill it's clients, or enforce it's invoices. if i want to change jobs, i need to update my portfolio. goodbye, social life.

I do have a question for you, however. I'm considering buying a mac. Maybe I'm off base here, but I thought you had one, and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Namely, whether or not I should buy one. I really want a computer that is a creating machine - video, music, pix, etc. So I'm told an Apple is the way to go. I've been browsing around the Apple store and I hate to admit how fucking lost I am. These are REALLY expensive machines, but they look amazing. I don't really know where to begin. I talked to two employees there - one guy didn't seem to know too much, he just rambled off what seemed to be a stock answer to my broad question. The other guy argued with me every time I asked a question. I guess I'm afraid of buying such an expensive computer when I will have to fret about turning everything I do on it into a universally accepted file format to share with other people that I do creative things with. Not only that, I don't quite see how one could upgrade the hardware in a mac - do you just have to shell out $1600 every few years and buy a new one? I'm kind of new to this. Sorry.
i swear, when i die, if i don't become a zombie, i'm gunna be seriously pissed.
