TWO AND A HALF WEEKS
so, i just spent ten minutes making this
cos i had to get the bottle from the top of my cabinets, where the collection still gathers dust, cos some part of me still belongs in college.
saturday i went to see pinback, which was fucking amazing, even though they played everything like 3 times as fast as it was meant to be, but they played lots of cool new stuff, and just generally played well. unlike enon, who opened, for reasons unkown to anyone other than the guy who runs the empty bottle, and now the logan square auditorium. which is the worst place to see a show ever, but pinback was pretty quiet/mellow, so it didn't get tooooo much reverb.
AND TOMORROW I GET TO SEE CURSIVE!!!!!!!
after i missed them last time. i can't imagine them not putting on an amazing show. that should do me on going out for the next two months. partly cos i'm anti-social, and partly cos i'm meant to be saving for movingness of the girl-thing into a place nearby, by which i mean my closet
two weeks (plus) and some till i get to see her again, two months (plus) till i don't have to be without. that marvelous feeling of doing the right thing. no more looking over my shoulder, wondering what if. go for the girl that's perfect, and fuck all if we have to starve trying. or something.
