so, since lv made a big deal of his desktop

i thought i'd show mine, since i just changed it all around.

home desktop

my work desktop isn't worth linking, cos it's just the knoppix background. i never see it, cos i'm working in AutoCAD 7 hours out of every 8. which peart seems to think is some sort of sign of stagnation.
so, it's pretty clear that i'd be much happier with any other OS than windows, since i've got objectdock running, along with an OS X themed objectbar and windowsblinds, with kde icons.
silly me, buying a 3dlabs graphics card, which seems to only work with windows. although they claim SuSE has a driver for it.
also, autodesk refuses to see value in making their products available on other platforms. and since their product is so easy to crack, which led to my (and eveyone else's) learning autocad in school, it's not like i'm willing to make the switch. gooooo unfair business practices.

p.p.s. yes, danica, i can't spell worth a damn. thanks for the help. in other news, i rock, cos i got my router's vpn capabilities configured properly.
