i am now happily posting from my new apartment

thanks to captainsteve and salome who did a whole lot of lifting for peanuts beer, cupcakes, and/or tacos. and to zabo, who would have helped, if i had better communication skills.

san francisco was pretty awesome.
especially the part where i was eating ice cream* and relating a story about making a mess of myself while eating ice cream in madison, and userlame laughing at me. upon finishing the story, ophelia pointed out that i was covered, again, in ice cream. clearly, i should just start bringing my own spoon. and napkins.
