Things have been so busy lately. Whenever I'm on the computer, I'm usually putting my resume on another job website. I swear LOOKING for a job is more exhausting than HAVING one!! I've been on 3 interviews so far. The last one seems promising, they had me come in for testing yesterday, and she said she was checking my references, so I've got my fingers crossed.
Sunday night we went to Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey & The Dresden Dolls. PJ Harvey cancelled, but Sonic Youth was incredible (as always) and I was shocked by the Dresden Dolls. They were awesome. Just a chick on keyboards and a guy on drums and a really different style of music. I have never seen someone's fingers fly over the keyboard like that before. They were really powerful--anyone who can make "War Pigs" actually SOUND like "War Pigs" with only a keyboard and drums would HAVE to be incredible.
This coming Saturday is Skinny Puppy--I can't fucking WAIT for that one.
So things are definitely looking up, up, up!!
