Well, looking back through my journal entries, I have come to realize that I'm a pretty negative person (or so you all must think by now, considering most of the entries are all ranting and raving about the crappy shit in my life).
I guess I just tend to talk about the negative more than the postive, but then again life is full of negative, not positive, huh?
Speaking of which, yesterday my boss informed me that he no longer has the business or the money to keep me on full time. So my full time/with benefits job is now part time/without benefits. Does anyone else out there feel like life has perpetually cursed them???
Just curious, cuz I feel like I can't catch a break--at least when it comes to work/money.
Life fucking sucks, but I refuse to let it get me down. My philosophy for this depressing week comes from one of my favorite poems. I keep repeating it to myself when I think I can't take anymore. Try it--might work for you too.
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light. "
Dylan Thomas
